The British Business Angels Association (BBAA) is the National Trade Association for the UK's Business Angel Networks and the early stage investment market and is backed by the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform.
BBAA Promotes the recognition of Member Business Angel Networks and organised angel groups. For these networks BBAA has a number of roles ranging from highlighting the contribution business angels make to the entrepreneurial culture, supporting its members and lobbying government to encourage the exchange of best practice, experiences and ideas between members.
Full Member £750 p.a.
To become a Member the organisation applying must:
Be a formally structured or constituted Business Angel group, network or syndicate,
Have an active involvement in the small- to medium-sized (SME) investment market,
Agree to abide by the BBAA ‘Code of Conduct’ and Disciplinary Procedure,
Have two full members of BBAA to sponsor their application to become a full member.

We recognise that every customers’ situation, property and needs differ. Our surveyor will visit your premises to design a system specifically to meet your requirements. Cal2’s experienced surveyors and our comprehensive product range ensures that we can always meet individual needs and expectations.
Cal2’s security solutions include (integrated) CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarms, Fire Extinguishers, and Monitoring.
Fire Alarm Systems
Fire alarm systems are essential so that people can be evacuated and the Fire Brigade alerted immediately in the event of a fire.
Our products range from basic battery or mains 'standalone' smoke detectors to fully automatic fire detection systems with integrated fire extinguishing and emergency lighting. All of our fire equipment is installed to BS5839 standards and emergency lighting is installed to BS5266 standards.
Cal2 Fire Alarms in all of the four modules: Design, Installation, Commissioning and Maintaining, and Fire Extinguisher Servicing.
Electrical Testing
Cal2 provide the Inspection and Testing of Portable Electrical Appliances. Our main goal is to supply your company or organisation with a comprehensive and cost effective solution to comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.
All Employers and Landlords/Letting agents are responsible by law for preventing any harm coming to their employees, customers and tenants when using electrical appliances or equipment provided for their use.
If your working environment or property has any appliances with a mains voltage plug attached, for example: Computers, Monitors, Printers, Kettles, Microwaves, Fridges, Vacuum Cleaners, Cash Tills, etc.
You will have a legal obligation to comply with all the necessary regulations. PAT Testing is the best way you can fulfil this obligation. Failure to implement a programme of Portable Appliance Testing can also have insurance implications.
Electricity can kill! Each year about 1000 accidents at work involving electric shock or burns are reported to the Health and Safety Executive. About 30 of these are fatal. Faulty electrical appliances and leads are the main cause of accidental fires in commercial buildings, representing over a quarter of all such fires.
